01. Mission

Creating a Digital Transport Marketplace

Bus24.lt needed a platform where transport companies could register, manage listings, and connect with potential customers. The system handles two distinct service types: shipment transport and passenger travel. Each listing includes departure and arrival locations, travel dates, and availability calendars. We built a solution that gives companies full control over their offerings while providing customers with an easy way to browse and compare transport options across multiple routes and dates.

Technical Approach: Django Marketplace Development

We chose Django as the foundation for its robust admin capabilities and scalability. The frontend combines jQuery for dynamic interactions with Bootstrap 5 for responsive design. Each listing features its own availability calendar, displayed clearly on individual listing pages. The platform includes a custom-built internal tracking system that monitors listing views and contact information requests. This data feeds directly into company dashboards, giving transport operators real-time insights into their listing performance and customer interest.
